The Apostolate for Family Consecration curriculum is a wonderful tool to help our children know God and to love Him. It uses a format similar to the Baltimore Catechism focusing on memorizing prayers, answers to questions about our Catholic Faith, and Scripture verses. Throughout their time in PSR, children will also have dedicated time to practice mental prayer, a way of speaking with God personally from our hearts.
There are three resources that we hope every PSR Catholic family will have at home as a part of their Catholic family library for your children to use.
Please let us know if you need any help in acquiring these books. Your children in level 2 and above will be asked to use these books at home but will not need to bring them to class. All these resources are available for free online but a physicial book will encourage your child to explore the treasures of Scripture and Tradition without the distractions inherent in using the internet.
If you are a new PSR family to this curriculum, you will receive a Parent Handbook. We encourage you to read it through and use the resources contained within.
Each student will receive and will be expected to bring with them each Sunday:
